WOW, what a wedding! I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting this wedding for my friend Nicki and we had so much fun working together again!
As a details girl, I was in my element. There were so many great little touches to this wedding from the elephant theme running throughout, right up to the Bollywood style grande finale! There was certainly no shortage of beautiful things to photograph.

The ceremony was held at Slindon Church, and the reception was at the gorgeous Fitzleroi Barn. To see more from their day, click on the slideshow at the bottom of the page…

I loved how the adult bridesmaids wore different dresses but in the same colour scheme…

A bit of bubbly to calm the nerves…

Shelley’s mum had these cute hankies made for the girls…

Shelley’s bouquet was stunning…

The weather didn’t dampen anyones spirits!

Franco + Shelley wanted to stop on the way to the venue for some portraits, we couldn’t resist getting a few shots by the Arundel folly – even if it did mean trespassing – I think it was worth the risk!

I love the elephant theme than ran through their day & the navy and hot pink colour scheme…

The South Downs made for a dramatic backdrop…

Franco + Shelley’s first dance was an amazing bollywood style choreographed routine danced to Jai Ho…

I travelled down to West Sussex again last weekend to 2nd shoot for my friend Nicki Feltham. The day started off threatening to rain, but luckily for us the weather stayed dry, and the overcast skies gave us the perfect soft light for shooting the wedding portraits.

We kicked off at Stacey’s parents where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. It was an emotional day & quite a few tears were shed as Stacey got ready. She looked radiant in her beautiful wedding dress, and the scrummy colour scheme of soft creams and rich chocolate browns made for a theme that looked good enough to eat!

They were married in the picturesque village of Felpham at the Parish Church of St.Mary the Virgin. The reception was held in the clubhouse at Bognor Regis Golf Club.

My good friend and photographer, Nicki, asked me to second shoot Holly + Stuart’s wedding with her last month as she was only 2 weeks away from her due date!

We had a great day, and Holly + Stuart looked amazing. The weather was wonderful and both the church and Worthing Golf Club made stunning backdrops for the photos. There were a lot to choose from, but here are some of my favorites from the day…

Holly’s gorgeous shoes, these have made an appearance on my blog before!

Holly + Stuart – Congratulations, I hope you enjoy your photos x

I had the pleasure of being asked to 2nd shoot at Natalie & Sarah’s Civil Partnership for my friend & fellow photographer Nicki Feltham. As I mentioned here, Nicki was about 4 weeks away from her due date with bubba number 3, and just wanted a helping hand incase she went into labour early : )

The day went without a hitch. It was a beautiful ceremony & the reception was held at the gorgeous Burlington Hotel overlooking the seafront. We took advantage of the wonderful location & whisked the girls off after the ceremony for a few relaxed portraits by the beach…

July 3, 2010

I have just spent the last two weekends 2nd shooting for my wonderful friend and photographer Nicki Feltham, and we had so much fun!

I emailed Nicki way back last year to ask her some questions about an album company she was using, and we hit it off straight away! Emails were flying backwards & forwards, and we discovered we had so much in common. We have now become firm friends, visiting each other for days out at the beach or farm with the kids.

When Nicki told me she was expecting her third baby boy (due next week!), she asked me to help her out at a few weddings close to her due date, just incase baby no.3 decided to come early! I didn’t have anything booked, so I jumped at the chance. Drove down to West Sussex & we spent the last few weekends shooting 2 great weddings. It was so much fun working together, and I am looking forward to 2nd shooting two more weddings with Nicki in September.

I am so excited to share the photos with you, but I have to wait until Nicki’s couples have seen them first so it may be a few more weeks yet. But here are a few behind the scenes snaps in the meantime…

A quick portrait of the two of us snagged by Nicki at Natalie + Sarah’s wedding

Nicki caught me in action!

Here’s a quick self portrait I snapped – just because I loved the mirror!

Stay tuned, I will be posting both weddings very soon x

You have seen the sneak peek of their gorgeous Christmas wedding – now here’s the slideshow…enjoy!

December 12th was a cold, crisp day, but the sun shone down on Catherine & Michael as they became husband & wife.

Their beautiful ceremony took place in the grand surroundings of The Guild Hall, Windsor.
Afterwards, Catherine & Michael made the decision to have some quiet time together, and a chance to have some portraits taken of just the two of them. It was a lovely thing to do – to take time out after the ceremony to just be alone, but also a great opportunity to shoot in a different location. They chose the Eton Rowing Lake as the backdrop, which made for some stunning & dramatic portraits with the heavy skies and friendly swan who decided to join us!

The wedding celebrations took place at the Burnham Conference Centre, where the guests feasted on Sausages & Mash – the ideal comfort food for this chilly December day! I have to say that both Catherine & Michael were troopers in the cold weather & did a brilliant job of looking warm in their photos!

Thank you both for choosing me to document your special day, Catherine – I know you can’t wait to see your pictures, so I will stop rambling – here are some of my faves…

Catherine had the most awesome blingin shoes…

And some gorgeous Vivienne Westwood accessories!

Simply stunning…

I hope you have both enjoyed your sneak peek – the rest will follow shortly!

Here are some of my faves from Ami & Neil’s special day, all wrapped up in a little slideshow.

These slideshows come as part of the Wedding Package, they are a lovely way to showcase your wedding photos to family and friends or to simply re-live your day! The DVD comes packaged in it’s own special case, with individually designed front cover and insert booklet (more photos of that to come!).

Ami & Neil – I hope you enjoy your slideshow and a copy will be making it’s way to you very soon!

Ami & Neil – Wedding

September 6, 2009

Recently I had the great pleasure of not only witnessing the marriage of my friends Ami & Neil, but also documenting their special day for them as well. The day kicked off at Ami’s parents with pink champagne, bacon rolls & lots of laughter. The bride was calm and quietly excited as her bridesmaids helped her into her wedding dress and slipped on her shoes.

Shoes, by the way, are a HUGE deal for Ami, she is a shoe-aholic! You will notice that shoes played a major role in the wedding day from the gorgeous diamante heels Ami wore – right down to the ‘shoe inspired’ ┬áseating plan. So I know she will appreciate these next few photos…
