Sorry I haven’t been here much lately, I have been busy designing my brand new blog!

A Night in Vegas!

Most of last week consisted of helping my little sis plan her hubby’s 30th birthday party. We had fun making cupcakes, editing the embarrassing slideshow of him as a child and decorating the hall Vegas style!

Trick or Treat!

I love Halloween! I took Daisy & Lola to the Pumpkin Grotto to choose the best pumpkins to carve and then we went for a walk in the woods to soak up the gorgeous autumn afternoon sunshine. Gotta make the most of these magical days : )

The girls were busy collecting armfuls of twigs and leaves, but I managed to get some good shots. Here are a few of my faves…

Franco + Shelley : West Sussex Wedding

WOW, what a wedding! I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting this wedding for my friend Nicki and we had so much fun working together again!
As a details girl, I was in my element. There were so many great little touches to this wedding from the elephant theme running throughout, right up to the Bollywood style grande finale! There was certainly no shortage of beautiful things to photograph.

The ceremony was held at Slindon Church, and the reception was at the gorgeous Fitzleroi Barn. To see more from their day, click on the slideshow at the bottom of the page…

Franco + Shelley wanted to stop on the way to the venue for some portraits, we couldn’t resist getting a few shots by the Arundel folly – even if it did mean trespassing – I think it was worth the risk!

I love the elephant theme than ran through their day & the navy and hot pink colour scheme…

The South Downs made for a dramatic backdrop…

Franco + Shelley’s first dance was an amazing bollywood style choreographed routine danced to Jai Ho…

Matt + Catheryne : A Country Garden Wedding

Matt + Catheryne were married in back in August, and due their photos being featured on the Rock My Wedding blog I had to hold off posting this until now. If you missed it you can see part 1 & part 2 here.
Their day was a joy to photograph, filled with so many quirky details that created a wedding that was so THEM! There were personal touches everywhere, and the reception was held in a marquee in Catheryne’s parents gorgeous back garden.

They were married in the Holy Cross Curch, Bearsted…

Catheryne and her mum altered her dress alot to turn it into her dream dress…

I am really excited to say that I have been featured on one of my fave UK wedding blogs – Rock My Wedding – whoop whoop!

I knew as soon as I turned up at Catheryne’s parents house that morning, that this was going to be a wedding to share. They put so much of themselves into the day, and it was filled with amazing details and little personal touches. Oh – and amazing shoes – and we all know about my love of shoes!

Laura + Stephan : Harte & Garter Hotel Wedding, Royal Windsor

What a wonderful wedding to end the wedding season on. Laura and Stephan had a classic Black & White theme and it suited their timeless style perfectly. Laura looked like a modern day Audrey Hepburn, with her gorgeous hair & make-up and stunning wedding gown that floated behind her. She just radiated happiness all day long. It was so easy to capture great photos of Laura + Stephan – despite their comments of being un-photogenic and nervous in front of a camera. They made my job extra easy because they just enjoyed their day, smiled non stop and didn’t worry about me being there. It was an honor to be their photographer and to capture some amazing moments.

They were married at St Peter’s Church, Iver, Buckinghamshire. Then it was on to the Harte & Garter Hotel in Windsor for the reception.

Laura & Stephan – I hope you have a wonderful time in South Africa with your family, here are some of my faves from the day – followed by the wedding day slideshow…

Laura’s brother surprised them with a bagpipe player for their grand entrance…he gathered quite a crowd of tourists!!

We were granted special permission from Windsor Castle to take a few portraits outside…

Tom + Victoria’s Wedding Slideshow

Tom & Victoria chose the James song, Just Like Fred Astaire for their first dance & slideshow music. I think it fits the feel of their day perfectly. And as they are both doctors, the lyrics seem pretty fitting as well!
